2. (a) Explain the term ‘Prevalence’ as used with reference to learners with Learning Disabilities. (2 marks)
(b) Describe four types of perceptual disorders experienced by learners with Learning Disabilities that may interfere with the processing of information. (8 marks)
(c) (i) Distinguish between the terms ‘Passive learning’ and ‘Poor self-concept’ in relation to learners at elementary level. (4 marks)
Describe three characteristics exhibited by a learner with articulation difficulties. (6 marks)

3. (a) State four components of ‘Post-traumatic Stress’ disorder among learners with Learning Disabilities. (4 marks)

(b) Outline eight ways a teacher would help a pupil with Learning Disabilities overcome psychological stress due to low academic performance. (8 marks)

c) Give five measures the government of Kenya should put in place to control Consumption of food additives by children with Learning Disabilities. (10 marks)
